Taurus New Moon 2026: What Happens When You Stop Forcing and Start Rooting

The feminine urge to disappear into the woods and completely reevaluate your life during a Taurus New Moon

I’m slowly landing back into “real life” after the magic of Camp Wild Spirit last weekend.

There’s something wildly disorienting about experiencing expansion… and then return to routines that no longer fit the version of you.

This is the weird sacred space nobody talks about enough.

The sacredness of the space between.
Between who you once were,
And who you are becoming.

The tenderness. The unraveling. The weird in-between where part of you knows you can’t fully go back to who you were before.

And today’s New Moon in Taurus on Saturday May 16 feels like it’s meeting us exactly there. 🌑✨

Taurus energy is not about rushing transformation.
It’s about rooting into it.

Slowly. Intentionally. Honestly.

Like the bull standing firm. Standing firm in your values, your self-worth, your integrity.
Instead of spiraling every time life feels uncertain.

This New Moon in Taurus is the most divine time to slow down enough to hear myself again.
To dig into what's actually important to me. And it's ok if that changes.

And while Taurus energy can be deeply grounding and nourishing, its shadow can show up as resisting change and gripping too tightly to comfort, control, old routines, or versions of ourselves that no longer fit.

I feel both grateful and uncomfortable right now.
Excited and sad.
Expanded and uncertain.
Clear… but also cracked open.

Women have this incredible capacity to hold the full rainbow spectrum of emotion.

So instead of trying to have your whole life figured out in one day, here’s your Taurus Super New Moon invitation:

Go outside.
Touch grass.
Put your bare feet on the earth.
Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
Take a few deep breaths.

And ask yourself:
What would actually feel nourishing and true for me in this next season of life?

This is such a potent time to set intentions around these themes right now.

The intentions you plant now will continue unfolding and revealing themselves over the next 6 months, especially as we move toward the Full Moon in Taurus in late October 2026.

Watch what begins to shift when you stop trying to rushing or forcing things, and start trusting what’s slowly taking root that makes it worth it in the long-term.

You can also look at your birth chart and ask:

  • Where is Taurus in your birth chart? Do you have any planets in Taurus? Those parts of you may feel this New Moon more strongly.

  • Find the zodiac sign Taurus in your chart. What house is Taurus located in? That area of life is where this New Moon may be asking you to slow down, root deeper, and create more stability.

  • Where am I craving more stability or softness?

  • What would it look like to trust slowness a little more?

You can cast your own birth chart here or book an astrology reading with me.
